Lets cut through
the internet jargon and make it
simple, easier to understand, and
infinitely more appreciated by your
average Joe. Unless you’re some
savvy Internet guru who’s adept at
all the jargon, acronyms, and
nomenclature of the industry, this
is basically what we love to do:
We break it down and make it the
“ABC” of the new Internet era called
Social Network Marketing (
just like the book, “programming for
idiots”, except we would never brand
anyone as such)
Humble
Beginnings:
Social Networking Sites are plenty.
All these sites will come and go,
but one thing is certain: the
Internet and all networking are here
to stay. You can take that to the
bank.
The Social
Network marketing phenomenon is
otherwise called, Web. 2.0., Why?
Web 1.0 saw the advent of Internet
sites, email, chat rooms, etc. and
has evolved to the next level:
Connecting with people who you’ve
given up for lost, or meeting with
new friends and building
“connections”, or networks. That’s
where social marketing got its name.
With almost every
company of any significance now
having their own website (web 1.0),
it has become almost a necessity for
company to have their own in house
staff to maintain their sites,
answer posts, blog, and keep their
sites current. Hence, the coming of
Web. 2.0.
New job titles
like, Internet Presence Managers, or
Search Engine Optimization Experts
have been coined, further adding to
the mumbo jumbo of Internet Geek
speak that frankly, only a geek can
understand.
So, if you’d
rather deal with one person or one
company for all your websites’
needs, maintenance, or wait for the
coming of “web 3.0” – that’s
where we come in.
We cater to the
“Keep It Simple St_pd” concept
An Internet
Presence Manager? What on earth is
that?
Simply put, this
is the “go to” guy for whatever you
need to know or put on your site. He
or she’s the whole package. This
person’s job is to make your
presence on the web current, make
your site feel fresh and enticing,
and make the mere mention of your
name in any search engine bring out
your company’s name sticking out
like a sore thumb.
Lets Label the
Internet Presence Manager as a “Social
Network Marketing Manager”
And here are the
main responsibilities:
Social
Networking Management 101
begins at the
root of all online businesses – the
server. No, it’s the not the
restaurant waiter asking you what
you want for lunch, but kidding
aside, it’s the home or ‘host’ of
your website, meaning anything and
everything written and known about
your website is in that machine we
call the server. Our servers are
working 24/7, ditto with the tech
support, impeccably backed up, and a
host of multiple data centers
worldwide. There is a guarantee that
nothing will break down – no
downtime whatsoever, and they also
work in multiple platforms. There
many platforms available, but our
particular choice for our system is
Linux. Even for clients that won’t
go away from asp or .Net, our
programming centers mainly around
PHP and my SQL.
Having multiple
dedicated servers with capabilities
to support any platform or
programming that new clients
require, will allow us
to mange any type of
website or e-commerce system. It’s
our way of adjusting to whatever
format you choose to have.
We simply must
have control at the server level to
manage the communication between our
servers and the search engines.
Google itself is
a gargantuan Linux super node,
multiple open source computers that
are the basis for their crawling and
indexing and while they don’t
penalize sites running on IIS, their
(Webmaster) Help Center clearly
tells you that you should have an
If-Modified-Since HTTP header:
(Uniformity is key, and if their
server runs on the same platform as
yours, then there are less problems
to deal with later)
If we fill you in
with the Apache, the world’s most
implemented webserver, we could be
guilty of giving you information
overload. Feel free to click
here on this link if you are
ready and if you feel that you have
understood the language we have used
so far.

Marketing 102 – Website Architecture
Lets begin with
some basic terms: SEO
SEO
simply means
“search engine optimization”, or to
make it simple, it’s the keyword you
type in to those blank search boxes
when you are looking for a
particular topic. In a nutshell, you
want your website, or company name
to pop up in the first pages of any
search engines when you type those
words.
Of course,
website architecture is like the
architecture of any building or
home. It’s the basis or foundation
of how the structure is built and
designed to perform in the future
especially when your site or
business grows.
Next up is the
website itself. While other firms
start with keywords as their first
step, our firm starts with
structure of the website from the
server on up to final designs for
both usability and SEO. One of the
big separators between us and our
competitors is the ability to
envision a complete website from the
foundation level, taking into
consideration site structure, deep
link navigating, programming, deep
link navigation, usability, SEO and
analytics along with basics such as
keyword management. Undoubtedly,
keywords are critical to the URL
creation or re-write on ongoing
projects, but a comprehensive
architecture must be developed
first.
We have teams of
programmers/designers that work with
SEO specialists in setting up a
presence in the Internet. Decisions
on how the site will “look and
feel”, it’s functionality,
and framework
will have to be made with SEO or
search engine optimization in mind
always. In other words, the design,
copy, and strategic decisions of the
site will use frequently used terms
or words that will optimize it’s
visibility for the URL structure to
be created.
We need to
separate the search engine
optimization (SEO) components of the
design from the usability layer, and
then “mash” or combine the two
elements to make a seamless site
using “web 2.0” applications. This
is not an easy concept to grasp
initially. The way we view websites
differ because of the experiences
we’ve had. Sometimes, just looking
at the search engine optimization
makes the site difficult to convert
into leads. “look and feel +
functionality” may be the focus of
the architecture, but SEO is an
important consideration.
Social Network
Managing 103 – Content is KING.
As soon as the
site and structure are determined,
and content is ascertained, the next
important stage is building bridges,
or “links”. Since reciprocal linking
have become almost the way of
endangered species, a website has to
claw and scrounge for links. The
most logical way to do this is to do
high rankings or to amass plenty of
inbound links that have the keywords
within the text anchors. Our firm
uses different and many strategies
in getting these coveted links.
Our services in
content management are among the
“Big Boys” as far as all our
combined years of experience in this
skill goes. Our authors have varied
backgrounds and a depth of knowledge
in the field of SEO tech. They are
trained in both research and
optimization from the start. By
providing our clients with CURRENT
and up to date data and content in
all fields of SEO’s, we keep search
engines jolly and merry.
With Google’s
Universal Search, Yahoo and Live’s
algorithm changes and the emergence
of ASK as a major search engine,
news oriented sites are getting more
juice than ever, making our content
amongst the market leaders in this
field.
It is critical
to any successful website marketing
plan to not only write and produce
good content, but to get it out
there.

Managing 105 – Building “Chatter”,
or Buzz, and Inbound Links
Links must be
related to the content of site or
else they will be of little use in
the long term. We believe is
building “buzz” or “chatter” that
will lead clients and potential
customers to be drawn to your sites
using these keywords as links.
Without authority highly ranked
pages can’t pass through their
reputation alone to pass on your
site. At the end of the day, SEO
people know that only inbound links
can push a website in the SERPs.
Web. 2.0 , SEO’s,
and server technologies has enabled
our form to create solutions to
manage every company’s internet
presence. You have found the perfect
firm to place you perfectly in
Internet traffic.
The web is always
going to be a work in progress,
constantly evolving, changing,
adopting new technologies. We stand
at the cutting edge of these
technologies, and will be there to
guide you once Web 2.0 levitates to
the next level, or “Web. 3.0”.
